There are two approaches that may be taken with breast cancer according to Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). The first approach would be to practice prevention by observing symptoms of imbalance within the body. For example, breast tenderness and fibrocystic breast disease along with moodiness, feelings of frustration and chronic tension headaches are indications that the body is stagnant. Cancer cells proliferate within an environment of stagnation as the healthy cells lack oxygen.
